Users have seen this message when attempting to email a HTM document when Word Processing User Settings are incorrect. If you are attempting to email a Word document the document will merge to Word, but not email.
This issue is revolves around the user settings that tell WINSALES what to do when attempting to email. When logged into WINSALES under OPTIONS + MODIFY + USER SETTINGS:
On the WORD PROCESSING tab:
On the GENERAL tab:
This issue has usually been caused by the UseEmail setting being 0, or the METHOD field on the activity did not match the EMailMethodValue user setting exactly (case-sensitive!). If you find a setting in error select the setting and change the value in NEW SETTING and SAVE and retry the merge/email.
